Maybe this will be the post that helps us find our people. We are Pixel & Sophie on other sites (for now) but we are Club Meatbird here! And we hope you all find us. We're missing over a million of you from Meta's platforms that we'd love to see here. 🥹 #cat #cats #catsofbluesky #smile

Pixel, a black and gray Cornish Rex cat, poses with a spring of catnip on top of his head. He bares his teeth in a friendly smile.

This is how I started off my first email of the day and I'd just like other women, especially woman creators, to claim the same joy. Wild Pixel to further encourage joyful ferality. ✨ #cat #cats #creators #women #catsofbluesky

A message that reads "Hi Scott, I hope this email finds you woefully uncomfortable. As uncomfortable as you have made me."

Pixel, a black and gray Cornish Rex cat, faces the camera with wide eyes, mouth agape, and a wild, joyfully feral expression on his face. He encourages woman creators to become ungovernable.

Stuff like this is why I got blocked from tagging the Hallmark page on FB. 🫠

Pixel, a black and gray Cornish Rex cat, wears a bee costume as he is superimposed over an image of purple roses. The text is positioned to resolve a greeting card, and reads "With Great Disdain at your recent display of Socially Abhorrent Bee-havior."

Both Canadian and US pets on certain prescription diets will be affected by this needless trade war, and it is breaking my heart. To be clear, I fully and enthusiastically support my Canadian neighbors in whatever they have to do. #tariffs #tradewar #cat #cats #catsofbluesky

Small moments of joy are important for your sanity & survival, and I have this absolute muppet that the universe dropped into my lap. May he help you find a smile. Sometimes strength comes in the strangest, most unassuming packages. And sometimes hope has fangs. 🫶 #cat #cats #catsofbluesky #smile

For our friends who left Meta, I just want you to know that my vengeance trolling of Markie Z. will continue uninhibited until there is an executive order preventing me from doing so. #meta #zuckerberg

The image shows a reply to one of Mark Zuckerberg's posts on Threads. The image is an illustration of the inside of a human colon showing two cancerous polyps. One polyp has Mark Zuckerberg's face superimposed over the top. The text of the reply states "You are a cancer in the bowels of this country." The poster means it with all her heart.

Club Meatbird is celebrating our sweet Disco's 1st birthday today! Looking back at some of this, I can't believe how much he has grown and changed since he came home. 🥹😻 He has completed our family in ways we never could have realized before. #catsofbluesky #cat #cats #rescuecat #tuxedocat #birthday

One of our FB followers said this pic makes Pixel look like one of the coffee aliens from Men in Black. 😂

Pixel, a black and gray Cornish Rex cat, stands tall and outstretched on top of a microwave sitting on a countertop. He is reaching up toward cabinets that hang on the wall above. The image highlights the slender form of the Cornish Rex, which is often compared to being quite alien-like.

In the vein of self care — I left this as a reply to Markie Z's latest proclamation on Threads and called him "peepee man." And I encourage others to do the same.

An image of cat litter in a litter box, in the process of being scooped with a white litter scoop. There are two pee clumps in the scoop, one with Mark Zuckerberg's hideous face superimposed over the top.

The white-hot fury of a post-nail-trim Loafus. The grudge will continue for at least the next 20 minutes.

Loafus, the chaotic alter-ego of Sophie, a solid white blue-eyed Cornish Rex cat, sits on a brown carpet staring into the camera. Her large round eyes are almost all pupil, dilated to the point of near blackness. Her face conveys a subtle rage. She wears a fashionable snakeskin printed turtleneck for warmth.

Two Cornish Rex cats, one gray and black, and one solid white, snuggle their heads together as they sleep. The dark one, Pixel, bares his teeth in a silly smile.

Is it so rough out here that even the spam bots are heading for class consciousness? 🤣 #meta #capitalism

The image shows a conversation with a bot or spammer on the poster's Facebook page. The poster facetiously responded to the bot comment in this exchange, and to her surprise, got a reply. Conversation as follows:

Bot: I need money
Poster: Bro, so do I. Solidarity.
Bot: Yes

This is fully the energy I'm bringing all day long today. ☕

The image of a woman's body, clothed in a gray bathrobe with multicolored hearts printed on it. She wears long black knee-high socks on her legs that are printed with a drawing of a chicken's leg and foot, made to give the illusion that the wearer has chicken legs.

I posted this to our more than 750,000 followers across Meta's platforms today. We can't abandon our community there, but we are so glad to add Bluesky and other platforms as they come along. Thank you for being here, wherever we may be. 🫶😻

Pixel, a gray and black Cornish Rex cat, and Sophie, a solid white Cornish Rex cat with blue eyes, sit in a fuzzy gray bed looking at the camera. Pixel sports a silly grin while Sophie gives her signature "side eye."

The text reads: Friends, this is a long read, so strap in. So much has happened the last few days that people are finding their heads spinning trying to keep up, myself included. After some thought, I have a couple of things that I want to say about Meta's announcement to roll back the content policies that have helped keep their platforms safer, more inviting spaces in the past few years. Indeed, I've seen evidence just this morning that the changes have already taken place.

First of all, I have never allowed hatred and toxicity to proliferate in my comment sections, and I never will. Just because Markie Z. has decided to allow hate speech on his platforms does not mean that it will be tolerated even one iota within the digital spaces that I have control over. We all know that spammers, bots, and trolls have always been largely left for page owners and content creators to deal with anyway — so I will just put in a little overtime in that regard. 🤷‍♀️

There is no doubt that you've seen everyone talking about leaving, and admittedly, it sounds a bit tempting doesn't it? However, while I have set up accounts for Club Meatbird on most of the alternative platforms that have been springing up — I will not be leaving Meta, and I have several reasons for making that decision.

Of course, this is my job and how we have gotten by for the past few years, but more than that, the community that we have built here is invaluable to me.

Here we have Disco convincing me to follow him to bed — not to fight my lack of sleep, but to make sure his fish are behaving. 🫠 I figured I'd share in case it might help some other insomniac break up the midnight doomscrolling.

A banan man has arrived to remind you that in spite of everything, somewhere in this world — silliness is occurring simply for its own sake. Thank you for bearing witness to ours. 🫶😻

Pixel, a gray and black Cornish Rex cat, sits on a gray chair with a gray and white cushion to his left. He is facing the camera with his teeth bared in a friendly grin. He has large yellow eyes that convey a slightly vacant but blissful look. At his feet, there is a large yellow banana. Pixel hopes that anyone who comes across this image remembers to have a snack and stay hydrated — you can't pour from an empty cup, friends.

Everyone on Meta looking at Zuckerberg's big post this morning:

Chester, a big orange tabby cat, stares at the camera with his eyes narrowed and mouth slightly agape. His face conveys a look of shock, disbelief, and disdain for what he is seeing. An image of a cell phone with an orange paw holding it is photoshopped into the image, giving the appearance that Chester is reacting to something that he saw displayed on the phone. Chester and all of Club Meatbird denounce fascism and those who bow to it.

For the past 3 years, my full time job has been serving moments of feline joy to Meta's audiences. We have 750,000 followers across their platforms and need to be able to break free from publishing there. Please share and help us find our people. 🙏 There are cat people here, right?

The image is divided into four equal share sections with each section showing a close up of a different cat's nose and mouth. The top left quadrant features Pixel, a black and gray Cornish Rex cat, showing off his signature grin. The top right features Disco, a black and white tuxedo cat, and his Hallmark snaggletooth. The bottom left features Chester, an orange tabby cat, showing off his tiny bottom teeth. The bottom right, finally, features Sophie — a solid white Cornish Rex cat — except that her mouth has been overlaid with the teeth of Beavis from the cartoon "Beavis and Butthead."
