The primary reason I still have any socials is to promote my video game. That is all. If I didn't have to do that, it would be highly likely that I'd simply have no online presence at all.

I think it's okay to be selective with those you choose to interact with online. As someone who isn't fond of social media, I generally try to keep to myself as much as I can, and I can say with certainty that I feel much better for it compared to when I was more actively involved with online spaces
