A wander up the Cromford end of the Via Gellia this morning whist waiting for the car (new tyres). Several common mines and a single Epinotia tenerana found. A sign showing the work being done to combat Ash die-back. Some interesting videos on the 'Life in the ravines' website. #TeamMoth

Wogan banished with 5 moths of 5 species. Dismal record shots in continuous drizzle, and it's still not light at 0730 😒 . A fresh Mother of Pearl (Patania ruralis) was a surprise, along with a much less fresh Small Fan-footed Wave. #TeamMoth

The dearth of autumn moths continues here with a dismal 5/3 🙄 The only moth of note was this nicely marked Brown-spot Pinion. #TeamMoth Beginning to wonder if a lot of larvae perished in the drought 🤔
