Climate-driven chaos in insurance markets is forcing many homeowners to turn to surplus lines for coverage, products traditionally used to cover a pitcher's elbow or singer's voice. W/ little to no regulation on surplus lines, this puts consumers & state budgets at risk tinyurl.com/9esm73h5

Why more homeowners across the U.S. are turning to an insurance that offers less coverage
As traditional insurers retreat from areas most vulnerable to extreme weather, more Americans struggling to find coverage are seeking out surplus line plans.
