Had to check out the Cultural Trail at Capitol - it's been torn up but navigable, I ride it all the time. Suddenly, now a dead end with no detour signs, which dumps a main trail in the city into the middle of a major intersection with no explanation of what to do. And somebody already died for it.

Having watched the video of the crash, it is obvious that drivers are f’n idiots. And so is anyone who screachingly defends them. The monon at 46th is clearly indicated. I went past this same intersection and slowed to a near stop to look…would have easily seen the child. EASILY.

I canvassed last night and with the rain I only hit 50 doors. That said, I had a lot of great conversations. Folks who would have normally talked through the door invited me in and we chatted. I even convinced a Republican to pull a Dem next week.

Last year my friend Deidre asked me for some help in getting a grant. I asked her what she needed — she had most of it but I called/messaged/harassed 7 or 8 activist friends like Will to help her with the final details. My involvement was knowing experts. Today is the execution of this grant.
