I had a L2-L5 laminectomy a month ago. Have to say it’s been a memorable 4 weeks. During surgery the surgeon probed down one of the nerve channels which has led to my left leg feeling like I’m constantly wearing a waist high wool sock that she says should resolve in a few months. Good times. 👍

I was able to get the things done before my pre-op appointment, so that was good. I’m waiting on them to call me about post-op at home care, though. The person I needed to speak with wasn’t available. ☹️

I’m in the process of raising all the kitty’s food, water, and litter boxes up to waist level for just that reason; more small tables arriving today. 🙂 I’m in the US; was told that home care *may* be available; will be assessed after surgery. I’m a veteran so the govt is covering all the cost.
