If you look at old cellar lights, such as this Hayward Brothers one on Bothwell Street in Glasgow, you'll often see that some of the glass has a distinctly purple hue, and this gives an unexpected insight into how the glass in them was made. Cont./ #glasgow #cellarlights #glass #streetfurniture
