Changing #FOI law to make it harder to get information to hold your government accountable turns out to work quite well. One department in Ontario has issued 48 refusals in just under two months. And if you can't refuse them, you can just ignore them...

No, it's vitally important you keep an election pledge no one believed you'd keep, tinker with the edges that make people feel like you've broken it, do some unpopular cuts you back down one, and then have massive cuts in the last fiscal year before the election. That's how social democracy works.

Same. They seem to have solved the sending Welsh and English versions together problem this time. Last time, there was a gap of several minutes where I had to use my absolutely terrible Welsh to figure out it was something about fires and barbecues.
