A paper puppet designed for the Namco game Genpei Tōma-den. Yukio Takahashi was the graphic designer responsible for this character and, as historian Zekuu suggested, this puppet was likely created to help programmer Ryōichi Ōkubo calculate the coordinates needed to animate this character, ... 1/2

For the past year I've been very slowly learning Japanese thanks to @wagotabi.bsky.social . I decided to re-imagine the ninja mini-game. The mockup uses the DawnBringer 32 colour palette. #palette

The scene depicts a swordsman and an archer defending a castle from a team of ninjas. The duo are to the left, with a wooden bridge separating them from the trio of ninjas. The ninjas are throwing kunai with scrolls strung to them; on the scrolls are hiragana characters.
The bottom half of the piece is a keyboard set into the roof of a Japanese feudal castle. There are shachi on either side of the rooftop.

The copcar monster for #LookOutside, you'll notice he was not merged with the car, I didnt know what kind of corruption was apporpiate for that, so Frankie added it later. I wanted to devote my first post here to celabrate the first fanart I've gotten AFAIK, I love their take on it!

Monstrous police car, there are monstrous dogs pouring out from the front of the car, in place of where the engine would be, as well as from the side window, there are german sheppards, doberman pinscher, pitbulls, something reasembling a bulldog, they are all wearing some sort of tactical boots and vests, but their legs are deformed and disturbing, some are so deformed they are eyeless, some have vertical mouths and teeth splitting from their regular mouths. The monster riding the vessel is wearing a police uniform, has two different kinds of tazers, a nonlethat takedown rifle and a gun, his face is a monstrous riot police mask with bars that reasemble teeth and shining green eyes. The cap has a misterious PP writing on it. it has been speculated that it could mean Prowling packhounds,
Phylax Packmutts,
Pandemonium Patrol,
Palakrex Patrol,
Parathonos Plaga,
Phobogrex Patrol,
Privilege Preservative,
Populi Pulverizer,
Punishment Plodder,
Porcine Persecutors, Puerile porkers, Pulsating Porcine, Palpable Privates, or simply
Pinches Puercos.
