LEWIS HAMILTON RADIO: "ITS A SOFTWARE ISSUE WE'RE TRYING TO SOLVE"

Lewis, stopped on the formation lap at Bahrain/Sepang

Both things can be true! Sorry to remind you!

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 29/09/2026

This! Spending that much money on a new stadium is declaring bankruptcy in problem solving for an existing solution!

Ownership says the stadium situation is untenable. The ownership situation actually feels like the lever that needs to be changed. If they can't get a deal done with better terms in Lumen, and their fallback is a small stadium in Renton, they absolutely need to sell the team.

Everyone who’s online should read this and then sit with it for a little while. I know it’ll sit with me for a long while.

Thanks for sharing. I also saw the full thread by S@H by now and have my strong opinion about what transpired.

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

That's pretty cool. Thanks for explaining.

Great save by Jackson, but how did he let this get past him in the first place?

I truly have to apologize to Jordan, he really is back on that upwards trend I doubted he could find and he is worth his money again on top of being a true Sounder.

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Take the f*cking money a 25k stadium would cost to build and SOLVE these problems instead. There is no way the stadium is cheaper than heavily going after solutions for these pathetic problems. Of course, that is if you are truly invested in solving these problems not just using them as an excuse!

I truly cannot believe that after this summer, with Seattle putting on a show in the world cup and packing the streets with their passion for soccer, that they want to move to a 25k seat SSS in Renton. Insane.

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

We know how to explain at least one part of that: Portland sucks!

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

I personally think he just needs other good players around him to effectively tap into his skill set. Which is not idea, but also workable, especially on this new contract now. And that is what we saw a few weeks ago.

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

I want to have the same believe as yours but all I have seen over the last years and how they talk about this tells me otherwise. And if they are really not able to fix the permanent locker room situation, I really have to question who the holdup here is.

Excellent Thread. Thanks for the great read @sounderatheart.com

LOL, running the club like a business (which it is), but selling the culture. Well ... I wanna puke hearing the eel twisting and spinning his own truth. Yuck!

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

THIS! Also, rich people lie to stay rich. They are only protecting their own pockets with this move.

000

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Didn't they have that at one point before they seriously screwed the pooch on that?

000

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Is he really this dense and not making the Renton connection here?

That tells you broad interest in fans going to Renton/Tukwilla…

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Not sure about that. The contract he now has is friendly to us too, no?

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

The more he talks about it, the less I think they are seriously trying to solve the problems he talks about. It rather feels like they are making problems to justify the move. Just like how they seemingly drive down attendance to get to a Renton suitable crowd.

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

How is this even a debate and he lets this happen? Are the people on the other side really assholes towards the Sounders? We're playing here so long, how can these things still be an issue? Who is the real problem preventing this to happen?

000

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

It's not! Of course that depends on how theirs is calculated, but to the best of my knowledge with NPS that I dealt with before, 37 is bad.

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Wut!?

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Wait, help me get more context here. Was there definite talk about moving to a 25k Renton stadium?

CK @ck.manof100hats.com · 27/09/2026

Do they coordinate on dress themes? I am noticing a pattern.
