It’s hard under the best of circumstances. For those with difficult family relationships or estrangement, it’s even more complicated

Fark- I had to call an ambulance for my son who was seriously ill and now we’ve got an ambulance bill for $497. This is insane. And now I’m going to have to jump through hoops to try and sort it. Why isn’t this covered under Medicare?

LMAO there is a very strange person on a community facebook group my mum is on who has made this post about a cat being murdered by a dog. The story doesn’t add up at all. She didn’t see it, doesn’t own the cat or know the owner, also doesn’t know the dog owner. It sounds so fake.

Awesome trip to work today. There was an empty seat next to me and this wealthy older woman told me I needed to stand because she thought I was in a priority seat, and then got snarky when I asked if she wanted to sit next to me.

Went and saw Metallica last night with my cousin. They were absolutely phenomenal. The disability accessibility was also great, they looked after my wheelchair using cousin so well and we had a great view of the stage at the accessibility area.

Love to get my device, which I paid for, essentially bricked because google now want me to use a google account.
Screenshot from google stating Action is required to maintain access to your Fitbit account.

As we have previously shared, Fitbit is now a part of Google, and Fitbit Account holders will need to transition to Google Accounts by 2 February 2026 to continue using Fitbit. If you don’t do anything, you will no longer be able to access Fitbit with your current Fitbit login credentials. Even if you use a Gmail account to sign in to Fitbit, you still need to move to a Google Account.
Move now
If you do not move to a Google Account by the deadline, you will not be able to continue using the Fitbit service or access your associated data.

Spent the day with family and I’m emotionally drained. My cousin has terminal cancer and we’re all trying to be there for her and each other as best as we can. At the moment I think I’m mainly grieving for the life she won’t get to live and the unfairness of it all.

This judgment went more in depth about self-represented litigants using AI than I've seen in other cases before. jade.io/article/1146...
"BELL CJ: Ms Costaras, are you, and I don't mean this critically, I just want to inquire, are you reading from some script or some slides prepared by artificial intelligence?
RESPONDENT: Yes, your Honour, I did get the help of AI."
The respondent later indicated that she had "uploaded all the documentation"
4. Some of the respondent's oral submissions were intelligible and engaged with the matters raised on the appeal. Many of them, however, did not. It is useful to give some examples to highlight the serious shortcomings of the use of Generative Al at least by a person who is not capable of either checking the accuracy or veracity or relevance of what has been generated. Again, I emphasise that in setting out the following passages, I am not being personally critical of the respondent who was doing her best to represent herself.

Some gut microbes can absorb and help expel ‘forever chemicals’ from the body, research shows
Previously, the only way to reduce levels of Pfas was by bloodletting or a drug with unpleasant side effects * Sign up for the Detox Your Kitchen newsletter Certain kinds of gut microbes absorb toxic Pfas “forever chemicals” and help expel them from the body via feces, new first-of-its-kind University of Cambridge research shows. The findings are welcome news as the only options that exist for reducing the level of dangerous Pfas compounds from the body are bloodletting and a cholesterol drug that induces unpleasant side effects. Saw this great sounding job but it requires me to disclose if I have a disability or not and doesn’t give me a prefer not to say option. Annoyingly, every time I’ve disclosed on a job application, I’ve never gotten to interview. And when I choose prefer not to say, I’ll often get interviewed.
