31 days of #Halloween movies - day 17. Maybe at some point this month I'll watch something from this century. Until then, here's a 1927 silent horror film. #NowWatching #ToddBrowning #LonChaney

31 days of #Halloween movies - day 16. The first three of this series always caught my eye when I saw them at Blockbuster as a kid because I never heard anyone talk about them and they featured Walken in the starring role, which is still a rarity. #NowWatching #TheProphecy #ChristopherWalken

If transporters were a thing, I'd let you pet Dax. She's my cuddle bug of a cat.

31 days of #Halloween movies - day 15. I've seen neither the 60s nor the 80s version of this. I'll still probably watch the musical later this month, though. #NowWatching #TheLittleShopOfHorrors #RogerCorman

31 days of #Halloween movies - day 2. I'm watching more shorts this year. Since I don't want to rush through a feature before work, I'm trying out this classic #Disney short that I don't think I've seen all of. #NowWatching

Last year, I watched a Halloween-appropriate film every day of October. Well, I'm going to try it again this year. It's dark, raining. I have a hot pizza, a warm blankent, and a cat. Let's get spooky. 31 days of #Halloween movies - day 1: #NowWatching #EdgarAllanPoe

@kinolorber.com had a sale on its silents, and I took advantage. Most excited for Robin Hood, Filibus (quoted on the back as "the most exciting, witty, feminist, steampunk, cross-dressing aviation thriller you will ever see"), and the Oscar Micheaux collection. #PhysicalMedia

Been watching #TheTwilightZone recently. It's a great show that's still very relevant, but sometimes you DO have to rolls your eyes through episodes like this:

A combo movie with a time traveler with extreme short-term memory, with his traveling shown out of his chronological order. My brain hurts just thinking about it. 😆

I've watch both of these. While the first two eps are atrocious and some of the worst media I've ever seen, Cavemen, surprisingly, grew on me, and I ended up recommending it. The Michael Richards Show is endlessly awful dreck with not one good episode or laugh and should be avoided at all costs.

One of my favorite series was the Clue books from the 90s. I've always been a mystery and Clue nut. So, I ate these books up.

This just arrived! Can't wait to dive back into The Racket, a fun crime drama directed by Lewis Milestone that was one of the first three films nominated for Best Picture. It even has a commentary track with the wonderful @selfstyledsiren.bsky.social. Thanks, @flicker-alley.bsky.social!

Due to a multitude of reasons, I didn't see Odyssey today. I have to be up at 5 a.m. tomorrow for work. So, instead of Nolan, I'm going to stay up too late and watch John Waters' first film (only viewable via YouTube): Mondo Trasho. #NowWatching

I agree. I mean, Schwarzenegger made this, for Christ's sake AND wanted to make a sequel for decades. I think he understands comedy fine.

Just watched a great episode of #StarTrek: #TNG that was from the POV of junior officers. It's a shame Trek didn't do more with this idea. They should really make a show about it. Maybe even make it animated.
