The image is of a four panel comic. The title is "Satanic Ritual".
In the first panel we see a little red devil in a bubble bath.
In the second panel we see the devil with a towel wrapped around its head, standing in front of a mirror doing gua sha.
In the third panel we see the devil putting on a face mask.
In the fourth panel we see the devil wearing the face mask sitting on its bed watching a show and drinking a glass of wine.

Is it an option for you to provide a live link to your slides via SharePoint/OneDrive so that you can just keep updating them?

It's entirely possible it's the same for me and I've missed an update, although that seems really excessive?

I know we are in the same uni, but in case there's variance between colleges/depts: I think it's a week. I generally meet that, but if I'm teaching brand new material then I try for at least 24hr :/

last night we had ed sheeran apologizing for saying what’s happening in palestine is bad and at the same time david byrne putting up a huge graphic that says MAKE AMERICA GAY AGAIN and showing footage of ICE brutality to a sold out crowd. you can actually be famous and successful AND give a shit.

P.S. two particular elements of the Regents Park production which I really liked: - set design that echoed the park's natural environment, in contrast to the junkyard/backalley setting of the original West End production - German expressionist vibes for Macavity

In conclusion I really like cats (the animals) and Cats (the musical). And emphatically not Cats (the movie).

dr. cat @cinefeline.bsky.social · 19/09/2026
The thing about Cats the musical is that all the parts about how they're cats - cats as mysterious and unknowable and elegant creatures - are great. Transcendent, even! There was a standing ovation after The Jellicle Ball! The bits where individual cats sing about themselves: a bit shit.

Not really the same thing, although I've just come out of a production of Cats and that's definitely a different experience at 36 than it is at 10.

While we wait to see if Digger gets Tom Cruise an Oscar, here's an essay I wrote about his three Academy Award nominations, his hard turn away from that early quest, his strengths and weaknesses, and the limits of "intensity." A decade later, I think it still applies. grantland.com/hollywood-pr...

Also! Limiting wild Pokémon to cordoned off zones? Are you kidding? I understand that it is a city setting and this makes a kind of sense for the context. I still hate it.

I started playing Pokémon Legends Z-A, and I am quite disappointed so far. What I liked about Arceus was the more open world and emphasis on exploration, collection and research over battling (my least favourite element of the games). So far Z-A mainly seems to want to force me to battle :(

I wish more people applying for PhDs understood (or respected) that admissions tutors and supervisors generally don't like unsolicited applications. Please - if you're thinking of applying - reach out by email to supervisors first! You will have much better chances of acceptance when you do apply!

In complete seriousness, what reading do you recommend (aside from your own writing on it of course)? Because I'm putting The Graduate on my undergrad film class this semester and need something to give my students!

Spent ages scrutinising the new food pictures on the website one of my preferred takeaways wondering if they're AI-generated. Caved and decided to order anyway because I'm too hungry and tired to have principles, only for it to turn out they've adjusted their delivery area and I am no longer in it.

Drag Race UK consciously and lovingly acknowledges its heritage, much of which comes from the BBC. It really does feel like a slap in the face.

One of the very sad things (of many) about Drag Race being dropped from the BBC, and linear TV/PSB generally, is how much of the show's hallmarks are indebted to British televisual (queer) culture: Blue Peter, Blankety Blank, Eurovision, among many others.
