It's been some time since I posted. Summer is always socially demanding for me so I had no energy left to post. BUT. I did find the time to knit a little 🧶 A shawl I knitted for my sister, a small wrist pillow and a top. Details in alt. #knitting #knitsky
A lace shawl ombre shawl pinned to a white mattress, with a part of brown wooden floor seen in the right bottom corner. It has a ladder running down the center and at the very top, a stockinette stitch in the top-middle part and a simple lace motif going to the end with spiky finish. Colour changes from purple (yarn colour said wine) to black.

Pattern name In The Land of Oz by Adrienne Fong
Yarn is half bamboo, half cotton by KokonkiA small pillow filled with scraps set on a light wood-like desk. Base colour is khaki with yellow leaves motif running down the whole pillow. On the three sides finished with a crochet hook.

No pattern, the motif Trellis taken from the KnitOvation Stitch Dictionary.
100% cotton yarn from KokonkiA ribbed crop top with a halter neck in colour khaki worn on a person with pale skin (I am NOT avoiding the sun, I promise) with brown hair sticking behind the neck at the top and a waist with part of a scar visible at the bottom. Brown wall can be seen in the background with an ivy in a light green pot in the top left.

Pattern: Zesty Tank by Rachel Brockman
100% cotton yarn by Kokonki

I don't have hEDS, but do have constantly numb hands and the most "relaxed" knitting method so far has been eastern uncrossed. It doesn't strain my hands as much as the others, though I'm not sure if it will be any help for you/if you've tried it already. Good luck finding something that works!

Knitters! Any ideas where I might be able to find the pattern for this sweater vest? I believe the cowl is a separate piece. #knitting 🧶

Sooo I think I left too big of a hole for the arm + am already done with the body so I can't undo it ++ wanna decrease down the arm. How do I do that without having a weird bubble of more stitches??? I tried once and had a weird bubble so that's why I'm asking

Oh, that's a really good idea, I'm going to start doing that. Maybe not with needles, I wouldn't want them to bend or snap but I'll figure something out. Honestly, they should start giving two pins in with the cables, it's so much easier to set them in with proper leverage.

Ah, thank you for explaining that, I'm not familiar with some of the english terms yet, esp since I mostly use simple one-cloloured yarns. This one I've bought more than 10 years ago and don't even have a label so I couldn't check. Good to know!

It might depend on the yarn type or your style as well, I think, mine was mercerized cotton which is quite orderly, maybe some coarser or finer yarns and threads would be harder to command? I do have fine black mittens waiting for their turn to be made, we'll see how it'll go with them.

So far no problems with tangling for me. I've pulled yarn from the centre and the outer layer and just twirl it a few times if I see it twisting, but when I was watching tutorials, most people either split the yarn into two balls, or just used two of them.

Two-at-a-time is going better than expected, somehow? I thought it'd take me more time to get used to it. Yay. Anyway, this is a pair for my niece, I think the yarn is a self-striping kind, so maybe it fits this weeks #ShowMeYouKnits theme? Not very visible on this pattern, though. #knitsky 🧶

Finally decided to learn knitting in the round. There was a lot to learn since my main style is combination continental. Figured it out while making mitts for my nephew and then realised the second one looks different🫠 Gotta learn two at a time now, I guess🧶 #knitting #knitsky

The main body is finished, will probably be around 180cm long (I'll know for sure once I block it). Trying to make borders but it's the first time making them and I'm not sure if they fit and how I'm gonna attach them. Thankfully, I still have time to play around with it. 🧶 #knitting #knitsky

New project. A pretty pink lace shawl as a gift for my friend's birthday. One thread 100% cotton, the other a mohair blend, both from Kokonki 🧶. The pattern is Spring Tulips Lace Stole. I almost didn't change anything in it. #knitting #knitsky
A square lace, light pink knitting project on cable needles connected with two yarns in the left, upper corner in a short repeat arrow-like pattern, lying on a desk.A close-up of the project. Arrows, resembling tulips upside-down follow right after each other in six sections, with breaks in-between. A mix of a lighter salmon colour cotton with a slightly darker mohair blend.
