Because of wage theft nearly $2 million is being returned to over 750 workers at Taco Bell, Dunkin', and Theory franchises. Affected workers are receiving an average of $2,400 each in restitution. The announcement was made by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani and DCWP Commissioner Sam Levine.
