Not a fan of #AI, but I think it's great that somebody decided to vibecode a clone of the entire #Adobe suite, even if the result is, well, AI slop. Fwiw I'm personally happy with the open-source alternatives out there, but if 1:1 clones existing helps stick it to Adobe I'm all for it!! 😂

Dang, the difference a better Wifi router placement can make! Router sitting inside the shelf (surrounded by way too much metal stuff) versus 2 meters over on the very top of said shelf. All it needed was a longer RJ45 cable than I had on hand for the past 6 months - finally bought one today 😅

Of course I completely forgot to order eclipse glasses before it was way to late, so no direct viewing this time :( Since the camera should be more rugged, I #3dprinted myself a filter using pieces of an old floppy disk to go in front of the lens 😁

(should've really gone for it a year ago when I built the PC, ugh).. I believe only one software package I use actually needs Windows - and yes, it's the Photoshop copycat I got a while back... But I don't even use it that often and could probably run it through Wine

Well, I went from XP straight to 10, so never got to experience the bad ones :p Actually pretty much everything I use (FreeCAD, DaVinci Resolve, Inkscape, KiCAD, etc.) already runs natively on Linux, so if I didn't have to completely empty the PC and backup my data first I'd already have done it

Windows 11 is by far the buggiest piece of junk operating system I've ever used. Only reason I haven't jumped ship yet is because of the adjustment period massively decreasing my productivity till I'm properly used to Linux...
