I mean, it's Paul Verhoeven. What did people expect? I don't blame Berkley for jumping at the opportunity. He was one of the hottest directors at the time. Also, the movie is fun as hell. Never let the naysayers win.

The quick collapse here is curious, to say the least. Minimal concessions were made. I suppose the “victory” is that there are (kind of) enforceable penalties if the agreement terms are not met? Media consolidation is never promising, but here’s to hoping that production will boom… (gulp...)

Been rocking out to New Found Glory following the passing of their guitarist Chad Gilbert. I made it to their Kill it Live album and just before playing "Hit or Miss," Chad said he wanted to be 80 and still playing that song. I can assure him when I'm 80 I'll still be listening to it...

I was a senior in high school on 9/11. To this day, I regularly think about what was lost on that day. Not just the lives, but with them all the promise of 20th century progress that we were assured would continue, began to dissolve. The instability of the last quarter century is staggering.
