This again? I can never remember what the problem usually is. It happens often enough that I recognize the error message, but not often enough that I remember the cause, or the solution. [INFO] checking whether the C compiler works... no [INFO] configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

Oh? I always wondered what they looked like… Thanks, iTunes.
A screen snippet from iTunes showing an artist profile circle with the caption “Various Artists” and the picture is of Keiichi Okabe, who is a composer/musician behind a number of video game and anime soundtracks.

I think SLH-DSA is so neat. Signature sizes be damned, building a signature scheme out of just hash functions is such a cool trick.

[Screenshot of bad take from x.com] Fine, when you put it like that, just let Denmark sink into the ocean. We don’t deserve any better.

We gave you C++.
We gave you DHH, RoR and Omarchy.
We gave you C#, PHP and TypeScript.

Maven wrapper scripts automatically download and unpack a maven distro if one is not present. You specify the URL to the distro download, and you can also specify a SHA-256 to check the download. If the download is a zip file, but `unzip` is not on the system, it automatically changes the URL to […]

Currently my solution to having too many browser tabs open, is to open more browser windows and spread the tabs across them. Maybe organized by theme or purpose. We'll see how that goes. Surely it can only be an improvement, right?

@dalias I think you could have a mirror repo without issues and PRs enabled, and still use them. Their main problem is the team that do the manual review before assigning CVEs is flooded with AI generated reports, so getting a CVE assigned currently takes over a month.

The debian kernel CVE list that’s making the rounds… this is just normal Linux kernel business, isn’t it? They’ve been outpouring a torrent of CVEs for a few years now. Someone just put about 1 year worth of it on a list and now it’s popping off?
