Slurs are just one example of hateful rhetoric leveled against LGBTQ+ people this election cycle. We've seen increased anti-trans language used by Reps and some Dems. This isn't a a question of policy — speech intended to dehumanize or disrespect is always unacceptable.

CCMC had ALREADY stopped providing this lifesaving care in July 2025 under threats to federal funding. Then in March 2026, a federal court ruled those funding threats were illegal. CCMC settled with the DOJ anyway. (2/4)
