Who is Real Fight NYC? On Friday, a new Super PAC dropped a massive ad buy attacking me and boosting Antonio Reynoso in the final days of this race. Because they formed so late, voters won't know who's behind them until after the election.

PAC IT UP: The debate over super PACs rages on in the race to succeed retiring Rep. Nydia Velázquez, our Madison Fernandez writes in.

Assemblymember Claire Valdez is taking aim at Real Fight NYC, a super PAC that filed with the Federal Election Commission last week. The group has put $250,000 toward boosting Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso and attacking Valdez, according to the ad tracker AdImpact.

Real Fight NYC’s donors won’t be disclosed until well after the primary — a dynamic that is shaping many races across the city and prompting some of those being targeted to speculate publicly about who’s funding the groups.
