Need more developers making these decomps to take stances like this, so tired of lazy assholes vibe coding their decomps because they don't give a shit about their own product.

Black Torch: I started out excited, but eventually it turned out to be just okay. Nothing really innovative for the genre, a lot of things I've seen before with none of the heart or development that the Big 3 earned over years of airtime. 7/10

Got an email that my Fortune's Weave is delayed a week so I complained to Amazon support and they refunded me 50 bucks. I'm still upset, but it's hard to be mad about getting an $80 game for $20

Chris Smith @christmas4477.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Finished my 4th run of 3 Houses to prep for Fortune's Weave, and honestly, while I love the characters and Fodlan, I feel like the in-depth stuff is too hidden to really sink my teeth into. There's no real buildup to Thales or Nemesis the way that Nergal or other final bosses have.

For those rightfully concerned by this new feature, it's being rolled out slowly. Keep an eye out on your end, and when it's available for you, look at the bottom of the page. Smack that "Turn Off" button as hard as you can. Let Twitch and Amazon know these features are invasive and unwanted!

[DROPPED] Tomb Raider King: After 7.5 episodes, I've finally lost patience waiting for something interesting to actually happen in Tomb Raider King. I was hoping the time-travel knowledge that goes into explaining every little detail would pay off, but it just hasn't at all.

Watching @maxdood.bsky.social react to things like the Nintendo Direct is so refreshing and wholesome. Remarks like "It's cool that Switch 2 is getting this" and the overall vibe of 'this might not be for me but it is for someone and I'm glad they have it' are just so rare

The exposition and world-building in Tomb Raider King are enjoyable and interesting, knowing the history of Relics is cool and all, but is anything in this series gonna actually happen?

000

Chris Smith @christmas4477.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I think my problem with Black Torch is that the series is acting like I'm already attached to the characters and having them do mid-to-late series things despite only being 8 episodes in. Honestly, I'm not invested in them enough to care
