Been talking a lot to friends about their futures in Japan lately With the visa fee renewal hikes and the normalization of xenophobia, it’s getting harder for a lot of people to feel like Japan is a place that has a real future for them I can’t say I blame them at all

My friends have extended my GFM for my stretch goal of $5000. Collectively, we’re current at 62%, which means we’re in a good place but I need to meet my stretch goal soon. Meeting it means I can cover everything for the rest of the year and easily avoid any risk of being unhomed this year.

Saw an early showing of Coyote vs Acme today. It is EXTREMELY good and you should see it in a theater if you possibly can. Any criticism I could possibly level at the film are the lowest order of nitpicks. Genuinely brilliant on its own merits and as a love letter to the original cartoons.
