players after 0-5-2 is telling to me. Those are normally accountability meetings where people get called out. I don't think this room has it in them to call each other out. The fact that the team pushed their C to the fourth line, I wonder who owns the leader's voice in that room. I don't think it's

The playoff push stretch was an anomaly. They hadn't shown the capacity to be that team prior, nor sustain it into the playoffs and the following season and so on. It's a young team in a rebuild. Had the #Flyers not overachieved last season, and missed the playoffs, and had proven to be what they were in early 2026, up until the O break, would the same shitstorm we're currently witnessing formed with the same intensity? I doubt it. To me it's the same team as it was in early Feb.

I said during camp and pre-season games that he looks to have excellent vision and can pass with the best of them. His shot - both accuracy (when we've seen it) and velocity - is elite. But man, he looks to be playing another sport on the D-side of the puck. IF he can get that worked out, look out.

There’s 1/3 of the league below the #Flyers that are 0-10 after their starts. The SC champions have the same record as the Flyers. There are 10 players on the roster born 2001 or later. Last year was one of many forward steps they need to take. Be a fan, and leave the hockey to the pros.

Metro teams off to a 1-3-1 start after 2 days. All the #Flyers need to do this yr is play relatively decent hockey and it will prob be good enough to get out of the division. Last night sucked but there are 83 games left. I suspect the team is going to need a couple weeks to get things in order.

Tbh, Bjarny for me has been up and down this camp. He’s listed at 6’3” but he don’t look it. He plays small for his frame, if that’s what it truly is. I’m hoping his development path starts to even out on the good side of things.

Hockey Ref list of the top ranked #Flyers goalies over the last 15 years. The highlighted ones are the only goalies with avg quality starts at or above league avg. The period between 2018-2025 was so bad it's depressing to look at. They need to jettison AK and find another prospect to work on.

His underlying stats last yr were flat out bad, even worse in the few playoff games he enjoyed. A recent comp would be a 38-year old Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, but without the defensive upside. And I disagree about looking 'great' this pre-season. He's a recognizable name skating with literal kids.

IMO, he was their best player, period. Got their PP going in the first and was seemingly everywhere all night. I think he's a guy that if he gets some real confidence, he could be a difference maker in the right matchups.

Cole Knuble was the best #Flyers player last night and it wasn't even close. "IF" Barkey is to miss some time, I think Knuble makes the opening night roster. A true center with a generous motor and "looks" to be physically stronger than Barkey. He's listed as 25 lbs heavier on the camp sheet.
