iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Maybe every writer started out as someone throwing messages in bottles out to the sea, hoping they reach anybody at all. Maybe every person started out that way. In what is now an impossibly vast sea of bottles, is it still plausible to believe any expression will actually reach anyone?

Colouring in the vertical forest

Digital painting, a vertical forest with a smaller vertical forest to its right. Or is it far away maybe

Contemplating moving from a scoring scale of seven to a scale of eight for how I score video games feels like plotting the violent betrayal of my own child.

Frustration at feeling stuck in life. Frustration at not knowing how to get unstuck. Frustration at the fact I'm not good enough to put into action. Frustration at the fact I should be better than this already. Frustation knowing the value of self-love, but only being a natural at self-hate.

I made a short VN for the 'Worst VN Ever' game jam this year, give it a look! Though of course considering the jam, don't expect much. dustydust55.itch.io/cave-story

I have to assume most people don't ask themselves 'What's worth sharing?' on social media, because I know from personal experience that would come down to a lot of people saying nothing at all. Maybe just me, though. On the other hand, no habitual doomscrolling so... Win?

It's still December, so I can post holiday costumes-- the Chaotix are ready for a day on the slopes!

Color illustration of the Chaotix with snow sport gear; Espio wears a purple and black snowsuit and rides a snowboard. Vector has skis and an orange jacket. Charmy is in a purple snowsuit and rides an inner tube sled.

I made my first youtube video recently, though it's just me rambling about my gripes with M&L: Brothership. Hope there's something enjoyable in there. For a much more coherent look at my thoughts, this video was based on my written review: backloggd.com/u/Chrispai/r... youtu.be/LGXmu7z9agE?...
