Same thing I thought re NYT story about hiring an away parent for your kid in college. First of all, um, kids need to learn to be independent. But also, why would I want someone else to do what care packages and phone calls and letters from home do? Those are among life's pleasures for the parent

Generally I’m not a kitchen-sin, everything-on #pizza guy. But here the pep and sausage were well balanced by mushrooms. Peppers and red onion added a modicum of zip without taking over the spotlight. Olives nestled in. Expert wood firing for a bubbled crust, my fave since I was a kid

🤩 Matchless is a great little brewery in Tumwater, outside of Olympia, WA, also home to Unwound (the band, that is). I don’t even know if they’re “little,” as they always have a ton of new 4 packs at the store. Great labels every time
