Harry Kane about to equal Shilton's 125 cap record. He's been more than Abel for England. There ends my tribute to Jeffrey Archer and his best work.

A better question might be: how the fuck did a country with fewer than 4m people manage to do so many brilliant things from 1987 (most of the Yugoslav side who were youth Champions) to relatively recently. Only Uruguay come close to achievement > moderate population.

It’s been a while since I had a proper Brexit rant. Then GB News’s US Political Editor declared Britain “is not a European country”, completely rewriting reality, and my restraint promptly left the fucking building. How many excuses do Brexit’s champions get before they answer for the mess?

To think this, let alone say this, feels wrong but we need some form of basic IQ/aptitude test before allowing people to vote. Never again should we be at the mercy of people who 'want to take back control', thick-as-mince 'vote Farage' types, and common racists (that Venn diagram is quite smooth)

One thing that won't be talked about enough is English football's economic landscape created, certainly in part, by Man C's ability to spend excessive fees, bloated salaries & meet inevitably high agent demands Inflation risen exponentially as a result of such mark-ups

Having a moment to consider the poor programme editors of Manchester City's imminent opponents (looking at you first Liverpool) and wondering: "What the hell are you supposed to write?" And that's not to mention the poor City counterpart/ media staff who will be total bystanders to this mess.
