You already know what you need to do: - Define your segments - Deeply understand their pain - Shape your solution to solve those pains - Test your articulation like a comedian tests jokes - Finalize that copy and put it on your site Stop waiting for final drafts. Execute!

Culture means everything. Losing even one key person can seriously impact work and morale. Strong culture acts as a retention tool - when people feel connected to and aligned with their team, they're more likely to stay despite potentially higher-paying offers elsewhere.

As a leader you need to be able to manage different people differently. It's why we recommend the MCode assessment because when your team takes it, it helps them see themselves better and you see them way more accurately, so you can lead them more effectively.

If your default is excellence, you can show up as critical. If your default is strategic, you can show up as overthinking. If your default is verbal, you can show up as not listening. Having a strength is awesome, but you also have to learn to manage your gift.

The most dangerous phrase in leadership isn't 'I don't know' - it's 'I know.' Certainty is the enemy of growth. Question your successful strategies more than your failed ones.

You know how to find potential clients (on social or in person)? Tell stories of your clients’ success. The hero of those stories is the client, not you. People hear them, feel inspired, and want similar success. They’ll ask you how to work with you to get the same results.

To get really good at what you do, you need lots of “at-bats,” opportunities to hone your skills. But if you want to take it to the next level, practice won’t make perfect. Instead you need to work on your mental game. Work on your mental game - eliminating distractions, and negative self-talk.

When you make your next hire, ask these five things: 1. Do they prefer to fix or start from scratch? 2. Do they prefer individual or group praise? 3. Do they prefer working independently or on a team? 4. Do they prefer to be in the group or lead it? 5. How do they handle pressure?

No one wants a job just to collect a paycheck. They want work that challenges them, helps them grow, is meaningful, and delights them (where they can bring their authentic self daily). At motivationcode.com we help them find that (without necessarily quitting their current jobs).
