So impressed with the Browns defense this year. Called well, the front kicks ass, LB play is good, back end can really run with guys. One of the units Im really interested to see where they are by year’s end.

Very gingerly dipping a toe into the stagnant pond of The Discourse I think it’s obviously fine to not hear popular songs but my reaction to learning “a song I don’t know has broken loads of popularity records“ is “oh I should hear it, maybe I’ll like it”, why would it not be that?

They just keep trying to recreate "Vertigo" when they should be trying to recreate "With Or Without You"... if they're going to rawk they could at least experiment with the "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me" vibe again

HIFA is large, it contains multitudes. Every September, we do a big fundraiser to abolish medical debt. From 2023-2025, we raised more than […]

I wasn't paying attention to the charts during the reign of "One Sweet Day," but as a middle schooler who watched a lot of VH1 at the time, I was not at all surprised to later learn it was the record holder. Even though music video airplay didn't factor in, that song felt ubiquitous to me.

"Choosin' Texas" staying at No. 1 so long feels like evidence that the charts/music industry are broken, not because it's a bad song (I like it) but because it seems to be the result of inertia, not a true crossover phenomenon. Still, wild to see people still on here saying they've never heard it.
