The NFSA recently acquired all five of the only mass-produced Australian pinball machines ever made (including the world’s first Star Wars licensed machine!) Nice piece from @gdig.bsky.social on the story behind them.

1987 Australian review of the first Carmen Sandiego game: “I saw the package for sale in Sydney for $89 which I feel is exorbitant. I myself would not pay that price for it and if it wasn’t for my old mate Brian lending me his game I wouldn’t have even seen it.” (now ~$266 AUD / $170 USD)
