tbf I hate not only the simplifying of knives but of VASH as well.he wasn’t a natural born saint. he fought to try and remain kind,ESP when it came to nai. vash isn’t supposed to easily “love and peace”. he’s supposed to CHOOSE it,despite any natural inclinations against it. that’s the whole point.

There are scenarios in which I would have accepted Knives' death. But the focus kept shifting, only to ultimately just cross out and discard your main slogan. Piano playing, beautiful piece of music for each of them, which was meant to become their joint composition — all for nothing.
