Credit where credit is due. John Mayer sang his MINDMINDMINDMIND part better than Trey. Also, if you didn’t see Trey with Lage, seek it out. Trey was fantastic. Super cool to see but makes it even more baffling that he so rarely sits in with the talented acts that frequent the NYC music scene.

Quick TV Rec: Season 2 of Beef might be my favorite season of tv this year. Incredibly clever writing and stellar acting. Also, you don’t need to see season one to watch season two. Each one is a self-contained story with nothing to do with each other.

Watching the Sturgill show from Wednesday over Saturday morning coffee. This is so much better than I thought it was from the 200s. Still oddly paced, but whatever. Arenas suck so bad for live music unless the band is really good at playing them.
