Stirring the Pod is an exciting new podcast featuring discussions of white privelege and mental illness in the jamband community by four white male hosts

A pod called Stirring the Pod and it discusses various rampant mental illnesses amongst the jam community by using tastefully curated aliases for the people discussed

I’m sure most disagree with this, but I think Goose would be better off and more sustainable jamming more. We’re at the point where a 9 song, 75 minute second set gets shit on if nothing goes for 20 minutes. If you have good songs, jam them more.

Goose is good, actually. It’s their fans that are the worst Been trying to tell Goose management this for years but they just don’t listen smh

Last night’s Meter Maid holds up. What a piece of improv. I’m trying not to overate it but i feel like it’s one of their best sub-20 minute pieces of improv Different level entirely, but the Royal also smokes So does the Savenger. I'm a big fan of mid-length fiery type I jams more than most people

Anyone thinking of dropping Nugs? What is the point anymore? They don’t have reliable streams, some shows aren’t streamed or are pay per view even with a membership. The quality for value just isn’t there anymore

Reasons why Goose broke through where the other post-Phish jambands didn’t: 30% Songwriting 20% Vocals 5% Improv 45% Rich parents & Pete Shapiro

Hot Take: Of all the bands in the jamband cinematic universe (JCU) the best ever at segues in their prime was moe moe was very good at segues so were Panic when they wanted to be Biscuits were and still are untouchable with this though You can hate their music but that doesn't make it any less tru

How many bands release a new album on a Friday and then play zero songs from that album the next night?

902Biscuirs @902vickers.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

I’m sure most disagree with this, but I think Goose would be better off and more sustainable jamming less. We’re at the point where a 5 song 75 minute second set gets shit on if nothing goes 20 minutes. If you have good songs, play them more.

I keep thinking about how insane it is that Echo of a Rose gave us the gritty darkness of Philly a few years ago, and now the same song in Melkweg has me spinning in a field of daisies blissing out to the point of tears. Two sides of the same coin. Just phenomenal stuff.

The songs you listen to and immediately dive back in for a second time are the best. Case in point with this excellent Echo of a Rose. #goose

I talked to Goose management... they are super stoked about our energy in Europe and that we get dance party waves rippling back like they have never seen in Europe and we are showing them how our culture gets down.

Really feeling Goose on this tour even outside of the NOLA shows. Not trying too hard to attract the college party crowd and just feels authentic. Hopefully they're saving the continued creativity for the Euro/summer tour.
