-good we've done it will never be enough to be comfortable asking for site donations/assistance. Our resources are limited and avenues of rev aren't keeping bills paid. Depression is eating me up. We have some ideas to bring funds in but again I worry about people hating it/us. I'm tired.

Anti-furry rhetoric has ALWAYS been a stand-in for anti-queer bigotry. I remember the 2000s internet, casual hatred of furries was a more-acceptable way of engaging in homophobia. 4chan (the seed the the modern online far right) was pretty explicit about it with terms like “furf*g”.
