USC, more than most other programs, actually does require a veneer of likability to operate at peak level. (Not from opponents but from the media and casuals.) Riley coming in and limiting media access is one of those fundamental misunderstandings of the job that dooms you in the long run.

17 undefeated P4 teams left after week 4 generally means we ain't getting one at the end of the season but thankfully it appears at the very least there are no scenarios where we have 3 in one conference. Weirdest one is definitely UCLA, who plays 0 of the other 3 0-loss B1G teams and misses OSU.

re: the re-release discourse: some of us are old enough to remember when bands would do 4 different store exclusive bonus tracks for album releases. I swear Smashing Pumpkins' Zeitgeist had a best buy exclusive track, a CIRCUIT CITY exclusive track, etc. That was way more exploitative than this
