We had such a fantastic time being at the HIV Adolescents workshop in Bangkok! It was great to be in a conference with adolescents taking centre stage both as the focus of talks but also and more importantly being in the room, sharing ideas, priorities and challenges we all need to be listening to.

Many young people who've grown up with HIV experience self-stigma. They internalise negative public attitudes around HIV and believe them to be true. This can impact on their mental and emotional health. We're grateful to have been part of this project and to the Chiva young people who took part.

Last week, 22 young people travelled to Sheffield for our Art Is Key project, reflecting on their journeys with HIV, then and no, and what it’s like living with HIV. Through song writing and drama they brought their stories to life, ending in a final sharing.
