Again, gas prices spiked in 2022-23 because Russia invaded Ukraine which caused a major disruption in global supply. Then they came down. Biden didn’t cause it. Gas prices rose in 2026 due solely to the stupidity of Trump who started a war in the Middle East.

I believe Schmitt left the hearing while it was still going on to do that podcast hit. It was clearly part of the plan made beforehand to have the entirety of right-wing media jump onto the “gotcha” as soon as Schmitt revealed it, so they could amplify his perjury charge.

Yeah Moran, Burgos, and Monasterio gave up 15 of the 26, and they’re not throwing in this series. Suarez and Bello also had bad outings, which is the biggest concern, but they both have been excellent themselves since. And it’s possible you never see either of them.

Great thread. Revive the OTA! This is also why I do not support term limits in Congress (at least not until other issues are fixed), because they would increase the churn and lead to even more reliance on lobbyists to explain complex issues.
