I did pull tabs for the first time as well, this CC, at Delta Beer Lounge!

Was it any good? (The movie)

Banding is not ideal for play patterns, and as such am avoiding it in this cube.

I've thought about overrun. VERY strong. Too strong? Who knows.

Good thoughts about aggro. I wonder how to shift some balance back toward the "aggro spectrum" if possible. 🤔

Copy all. I was more thinking color hosing like "Choke"

Chill @chillmtgtv.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

What white wincons do you think should be added?

Chill @chillmtgtv.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

Thanks, Dan! For green, there is a smattering of "deal damage as if this creature wasn't blocked" effects, combined with Trample and instant speed power buffing spells (giant growth). For white, I feel you, the creatures from that period are very tough-skewed and "gain life/prevent damage."

Yes, Goblin King is the only Mountainwalk-enabling card. Do you think it's upside and nostalgic fun is enough to warrant as the only card including land walk?

Chill @chillmtgtv.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

Thanks Matt! Yes, I suspect Brain Geyser is fun card.

Thanks! Yes, I abhor board stalls and want games "to end."

Added in a comment. Sorry! Thanks for the catch!

I went pretty hard on expanding my white bordered (bar) cube into a full 360 cube for 8 players. My intent is to submit to Shoebox for consideration. Please take a look at my Cube Vision and maybe do a test draft! Let me know if there are outliers that shouldn't be included for gameplay reasons.

Just secured my hotel for shoebox.gg Who else am I going to see there?

Maybe this is a hot take, but the pressure to upgrade a #mtgcube with new cards every time a set drops is antithetical to the format and over consumption.

Currently there are eleven cubes that you can use in your @scryfall.com searches with "cube:<id>" and they're all woefully out of date. What would it take to extend this search term to all lists on @cubecobra.com?

One of the coolest things I saw this weekend was part of a “Cube” curated by Matt (I am only 90% certain on name) who buys PT draft decks from players and keeps them in individual cases. Players draft three decks from a selection on table and play beat two out of three a different deck each game.

Go for it! My own cube content creation journey was fun and learned lots of new skills. It was a lot of work but it’s great talking with and collaborating with others in the community!

The bracket is set! Voting will begin Monday June 9th at 9am CDT. This year will be similar to last year's voting with a few small tweaks. We're still using our STAV - Single Transferable Adjusted Voting Algorithm this year but we will be running Polls in 3 stages.
