Today, I sing the praises of Hops, for the healing. 90-second doses of dopamine via IG stories. Very fluffy kitties that sleep on your face so that you're picking fur out of your eyelashes in the AM. Sun that sets *after* I get home from work. Competency. Coworkers who get it. Doing my best.

The entire point of a political party is to fight for the things its members believe in. We shouldn’t have to constantly do this much work to get the Democrats to do their core job. People shouldn’t need to beg Democrats to vote right or simply speak out. The party has failed its core function.
