Happy (belated) Hobbit Day!? I cosplayed Bilbo like 10 years ago; I still have his outfit because my ultimate dream is to go to Hobbiton dressed as him 😭 (This Bag End set was in Changi Airport during the premiere of the Hobbit movies LOL)

absolutely hate it when managers ask you to make the decisions and then tell you how wrong you are when you make the decisions like if you wanted it your way in the first place just tell me from the start i literally could not care less and won't fight you on it LOL

I’m just thinking about Elrond’s memories of Elros 😭 Once again I’m not sure of the lore but when Elros leaves for Numenor is that the last he sees of his brother?? Cuz I’m just imagining the sad jumpscares Elrond gets when he sees depictions of his brother in books and paintings

Adding yet another pair of tragic brothers to my collection #trop #lotr

A drawing of Elrond dressed in armour, hands clutching at his hair in anguish. His brother, Elros is in the background, faded.

A screenshot of a quiz question. The question reads “I would”, with instructions right below it saying “Answers, please choose 1”. The answers below that read: kill for you, die for you, die with you, die without you. All of the options are ticked.

Pacific Rim LOTR AU with Elros and Elrond you don’t even have to change the story 🔥🔥🔥 (Mako can either be Durin or Celebrian either person fits 🤷🏻)

Was listening to John Green talk just now (organised by NLB which was cool!!!) And in reply to a question about using AI for writing, he mentioned that we shouldn’t think that the opposite of easy is not fun, and that things that are hard to do should be fun to do too which really got me thinking!

I spent a total of 648 hours in photoshop working on this. That doesnt even include the absurd amount of research and reference gathering I had to do. I put together a pretty dense collection of the process for all this if you're interested too. A LOT of lessons learned

⚔️🔥CAPTURE QUEST: CHARIZARD🔥⚔️ I have wanted to paint this for over a decade and spent the last year of my life fighting to bring it to the finish line. Please take a look, there is a lot to see

Gargantuan illustration of a charizard redesigned in the style of a monster hunter elder dragon. There are 4 hunters attacking him and their pikapalico is readying a voltorb bomb to throw. There is so much stuff in there, I spent a damn year on this. I'm exhausted.

One of my two TRSB26 illustrations 💍⛏️🍃 Durin takes Elrond to meet the Watcher in the Water in a dreamy place where water runs clear and the ground is fertile and floral scented ☀️ 🦋🏞️ But someone is even more excited to meet certain half-elf 😇 #Durond

Durin takes Elrond to meet the creature Watcher in the water in a dreamy place where water runs clear and the ground is fertile and flowery scented. Grass grows green and healthy and a few butterflies are playing with the tentacles of the creature who waves with one of their tentacles to Elrond politely and excited to meet the half-elf.

sometimes it's just that way, but you gotta keep on going, regardless.

rough three panel comic of an artist, drawing. first panel is her drawing looking relatively normal. The second is her freaking out, grabbing her head, hopping about while yelling "AaaaAAah! Why?! RRRAH! c'mon! FUUUuuuuuuccck!". The last panel is her getting back to drawing, very similar to the first panel just sweatier. She's muttering "ok ok ok ok ok ".

Crudely drawn bunny character holding a pencil, messy hand lettering surrounds them in orange to green gradient color. It says in all caps:

Stop using AI for your flyers & logos! They look like shit, everybody thinks so! Seriously, you’re losing business. Just make it yourself or hire a real artist.

It’s ok to critique the sets/armour of Nolans’s Odyssey because it’s not historically accurate But personally, I was very intrigued by the styling of his movie because it looks sci-fi instead of a historically accurate retelling of a myth
