Hiya! I am a webcomic creator with titles such as Requiem Mask and The Refuge currently in the works. Problem is, my computer crapped out and so I don't have anything other than the teaser title for the new RM! So, yeah! Can follow me for updates and eventually the comics will be at CheruSake.com

The tip of the Opera Garnier in Paris is barely visible, with the words "Le Fantome de l'Opera Requiem Mask, Nuova Prima al Fine" written above.

Still smells a lot better than cigarette smoke, though. I'd rather walk through a puff of strawberry lemonade any day.

Oof. Woke up sick. My body just won't tolerate KFC anymore, apparently. I'm gonna have to slog through the day at work, unfortunately though. It's an important day that I can't miss. But I am suuffferrring.

Had a LOT of fun designing these Ivy and Harley costumes for Poison Ivy in Briarwood (coming out this November of DC Go!) #art 🌹✨

Costume designs for Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, in the upcoming Poison Ivy in Briarwood DC Go webcomic.
Ivy: Dressed a 'medieval' green witch dress, with flowing long skirt layers and billowing half-sleeves. She wears an off the shoulder blouse below a corset top. Her red hair is long and partially tied back with braids.
Harley: Wearing a venetian jester outfit reminiscent of her classic suit, with long hat jangles, a ruffled collar and skirt, and puffy sleeves. the outfit is patterned with stripes and checkerboard all in black, red, and white. she has a small black diamond painted underneath each eye.

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

Lord. I ain't commenting on other people's posts anymore. Too much drama. I ain't a part of. Share a happening that doesn't effect anyone and have someone jump down my throat for it. No thanks. :/ I'll just stay in my lane over here.

I managed to make it 20 blocks (6.5 km or 4 miles) before I caved and took an Uber. Wasn't the rain. Wasn't the wind. Wasn't the sweat. It was the fact that my boots are giving out on the pad and it was starting to cut my foot. X.x but still! For being inactive for like 3 weeks, that feels good.

Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.

A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

I watched a new good one last night! Called Never Let Go. Was pleasantly surprised, I think because my mental health brain was like "Is this just schizophrenia?" And so I was having a lot of fun trying to determine that through the movie.

Waiting for paychecks and my new role to really kick in is KILLING ME. (figuratively) Working from home is great. But I'm also going stir crazy. And not being able to do art when I want to (I have found I reeeeally don't like working in traditional media) is frustrating. I want my new computer!

No real reason to send me anything or to stay in touch, but yet...they do. And I guess I'm just not used to people not throwing me away when they're done with me. It's a really nice feeling knowing they still think of me enough to go "hey, I thought you'd think this is funny" without saying directly

One thing that makes me inexplicably happy is how I still talk pretty regularly with my previous coworkers and supervisor from my last job. I still regret leaving, but I I'm also pleased with where I am now. Just cool to receive a text message with a YouTube video that they thought I'd enjoy.

I had better luck on it than I did on duckduckgo. I can't believe how many times I had to add "FOR MEN" in the search bar, even though I'd already said "men's fashion", because it would keep just showing women.

CheruSake @cherusake.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I thought people were exaggerating when they said search has gotten so bad. I just spent the last 2 hours looking for a thirst trap reference for a dude wearing a fancy goth crop top. I have to just try to draw it from scratch with zero fashion sense.

You know how I had an inkling that there was something "different" about me? I couldn't process the way others did. I'm very bottom-top. And it still blows me away how people can speak so eloquently without having to rehearse. Meanwhile, my thought are complex and deep...just sticks in my head.

I have lots of mini collections! I collect stones/gems/crystals, jewelry, SailorMoon Cards, Stickers (which I have to be threatened to use), movies, books, CDs/Records, and I guess I also technically collect pretty digital pictures.

As a writer of exactly this (and so far way dirtier than any of the published books I've read) ...it's really quite fun and freeing. Especially since I have a partner that writes with me, we use a lot of it to process complex thoughts around trauma and abuse. It can be a very handy coping tool!
