I'm glad I'm not the only one watching Apothecary Diaries who laughed about how many "dead wife flashbacks" there were in the first episode of season 3, lol.

Feeling a bit listless towards streaming tonight but had energy nonetheless so I figured I'd keep myself busy doing that 9 games trend. The first is by gameplay, the second by story/characters, the third by how influential it was to me personally.

If you ever find yourself lulled into this line of thinking, please remember that fandom entitlement and toxicity has been around since at least 1893.

In an incredible move, Saddle Lake Cree Nation in Alberta, Canada has announced a gender-affirming care clinic for trans youth, asserting tribal sovereignty and defying the region's ban. It is one of the biggest cross-movement solidarity moments in Canada. Subscribe to support our journalism.

I probably could have got a video out way faster if I wasn't watching and thinking about this show, but you should watch and think about this show too anyways.

Sofia's been the random character I attached to when we only had tiny images of their portraits, so I'm glad she finally got a profile.

papyrus isn't in deltarune because if there was just one adult who susie could find trustworthy the whole thing would be solved by now. she'd be saying "it has to be a kris and susie and papyrus thing" and chapter 6 would be papyrus obnoxiously doing a FOIA request for the bunker codes

And on top of that, they were all focused on people of color Trans poc, especially trans black people, rarely get any representation in media at all, let alone children's media. So taking that away is a huge slap to the face.

So, about a week and a half ago I decided that I wanted to broaden my horizons and watch a Shonen anime instead of my usual fare since getting into it, which is mostly slice of life, and I ended up starting One Piece. Gonna use this thread to talk about the arcs and rank the characters as I go.

I'm so sick of this freak. I've had to remake the slides about the new Friend info three times to make it both concise and comprehensible for anyone that isn't me. (Also ngl I think people are not going to be civil about the one-two punch of this into my next video which is gender in Deltarune lol)

Between the fighting game hiring Mike Z, a renowned asshat, as a director, and the movie directors asking ChatGPT what Asian people look like, I'm starting to regret ever having hope for this series.

stupid idea i couldnt get out of my head

a crude 4 panel comic of kris and susie from deltarune attending church, reminiscent of the scene in chapter 4.

panel 1: susie stands up from the pew and stretches, saying "okaaaay this church crap is boring. im done here" while kris continues sat.

panel 2: the offscreen voice of the pastor alvin says "and now may our congregation once again join voices for-" susie angrily flomps back down onto the pew next to kris, saying "oh my GOD, *ANOTHER* HYMN?!"

panel 3: kris' soul, the player, has a cartoonishly shocked expression while kris glances over in confusion

panel 4: the soul exclaims "ANOTHER HIM?!?" referencing the vaguely gaster-related song on the OST. kris, annoyed, looks away, muttering "you will genuinely tweak about fucking anything"
