On those days I get out my beads and make a new watchband for my Apple watch. The end pieces are remarkably inexpensive.
A three-stranded apple watch band with howlite (white), jasper (red) and moss agate (green) beads. I wear it for Christmas and Mexican holidays. FYI 6 mm stone beads, 2 mm spacers

I'm just riveted by this weird reflection in one of the pictures that makes Miller look like an alien...

Frasier the Sensuous Lion was a sensation in the early 1970's. Old, mangy, toothless, with tongue lolling, he was loved by the ladies and sired over 30 cubs via six young, nubile lionesses.

I used magnetic hooks to mount my beaded curtain in the doorway to my back room. It provides a surprisingly effective visual barrier, and is easily pulled back (again, with a loop on a magnetic hook). It sends a nice "stay out" message to students while still being open for me.
A bamboo curtain with a sunset behind a palm tree. It provides a visual barrier in a doorway. It is suspended from magnetic hooks. The same bamboo curtain, now help back by a bit of string hooked to another magnetic hook. You can see the ugly back room that the curtain hides.

Who wants banana bread? (Recipe in ALT)
Banana bread fresh from the oven, a perfect brown with a single crack. The trick is to BUTTER the pan and sprinkle it with cinnamon sugar for a non-dry delicious crust. Brown sugar instead of white for an even moister loaf.
Banana Bread
3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup dark brown sugar (213 grams)
1 egg
¼ cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional)

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (180 grams)
1 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by generously greasing the bottom and sides with butter and dusting it with cinnamon sugar. This makes for a very moist flavorful crust, do not skip this step!
Whisk together the soda and flour.
Mix wet ingredients, including sugar, salt and raisins.
Blend in flour and soda JUST UNTIL INCORPORATED.
Pour into pan, bake about an hour. Toothpick should be clean.
