#mechatober An anatomically correct gorilla. I probably should've done something more creative with the prompt, but I was far too enamoured with nailing those authentic primate proportions.

Happy Publishing day to "Hidden Heroes: Ten Overlooked trailblazers"! This book is adapted from The New York Times Overlooked column. A perfect gift for kids who love history, Non-fiction, and simply learning about people. #kidlitart #bookillustration

The grim reaper is talking to a rabbit. The rabbit says, "I have a hard time taking compliments." The reaper is holding out his hand, and butterflies are gathering. He says, "Then don't take them. Still trying to catch up with #spaceshiptember. I realise with prompts like "rebels" I never do a particularly good job :'D My colour choices are always pretty vibrant and unreserved, so I have no colourschemes that particularly shout out "rebellion" or "anarchy."

Hello, BlueSky! Today is my birthday! As the age-old tradition dictates, I'll share some artworks and if you'd like to repost as a gift I'd appreciate that very much. I hope you have a great day! 🥰

Digital painting of a nature god. He has dark brown skin, long dark red hair and green eyes. He's naked, only wearing a flower crown and is covered with a large white snake with red diamond patterns.

Digital painting of a faun boy in a pond. He has brown skin with white spots, akin to a deer's coat. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and small antlers on his head. He stands hip deep in a magical pond, holding a small blue fairy in his hands. Waterfalls feeds the pond, surrounded by otherworldly deep teal leaves and bushes with purple flowers.

Digital painting of a fairy mid-flight. She has brown skin, copper red hair in a high ponytail, and amber eyes. She's dressed in clothes made of leaves and grass, and armor made of bark. She has large, iridescent dragonfly wings on her back and aim a bow at something off-screen. The background is a blurry sunlit forest, giving the illusion of movement.

Digital full body painting of Serara from my book WIP. She's a plus size dark skinned young woman with dark curly hair and green eyes. She's dressed in a blue tunic with purple and gold pattern and blue pants. A green scarf is draped over her shoulders and she has a pink bag slung over her shoulder. The background is mostly white with a photo of a misty forest in a pale teal color.

Went quite literal with the interpretation of "mothership." It was a little challenging to come up with an actually motherly spaceship. But it all clicked when I fell back on one of my less freqeuntly used stock solutions; outright fish.

Rin instead tracks down Seiji and pesters him to help her with the promise of getting him back in the arena. Seiji's hesitant but eventually caves after much consideration.

Hi everyone! I'm here to help my friend @olivejkelley.bsky.social reveal the cover for their next book, Watkins & Hemlock: Ouroboros! It's currently free to read online (watkinsandhemlock.com) and the KS for it begins Oct 20th! Please send them your support! (Art by @morlevart.bsky.social)

Jim Watkins, a military doctor turned FBI agent, itches to return to the field after stagnant months recovering from a serial bomber attack that nearly killed him. His first case back throws him into the orbit of forensic consultant Sterling Hemlock, a strange, handsome genius. Despite being Watkins’s polar opposite, Hemlock immediately fills a gap in the investigation—and in the agent’s life.

Told through the lens of Watkins’s blog posts, OUROBOROS follows the duo of crime fighters across six gripping cases. From a political poisoning (or two), a gruesome murder on a queer cruise, to the resurgence of a violent old enemy, Watkins and Hemlock find that between the two of them, there’s no case they can’t solve.

Watkins & Hemlock is a serial novel that revisits and reimagines the classic story of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson through a queer lens in the modern era. OUROBOROS is the first volume.

continuing haphazardously with #spaceshiptember. Every part of this one screams background props; the kind of thing made en masse to fill out a hanger the viewer isn't really paying attention to because the lead characters are disembarking their super-cool, unique spacecraft (not pictured).
