On a Mad Men re-watch and my dumb brain did me a disservice over the years: Though I loved it the first time, I remembered it as being a bit slow-moving. NOPE. Totally wrong! We get Dick Whitman clues in Episode 1 -- and these episodes are packed with plot.

This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.

ABTCR foster needed! This handsome hound had it all until his person became ill and was no longer able to care for him. He ended up at the shelter, and tomorrow he is scheduled to be euthanized because there is no more room. He is good with other dogs, completely vetted and up-to-date on all his vaccines.
He's friendly, calm, and today he showed his true spirit by lounging in the sunshine. He was never a hunting dog. He has lived his entire 5 years as an in-home companion. ABTCR will arrange transport to an approved foster home in the Virginia region. Please help ABTCR save his life.

Duke's is a gem. We frequented it after the worst of the pandemic and before we moved to Madison. After 3 Crow's heel turn and the closure of a couple other places, it was one of the only places left that felt like a 5 Points bar should.
