Our legal software gave everyone a 30-day trial of their AI product. After 3 days, we asked the company to please, please GOD make it stop. Every time you upload a file, a box pops up asking if you want the AI to perform an analysis, and/or compare to other files you recently uploaded. 1/2

I haven't had much to say lately. Someone I love was in an awful accident a while back. They're doing ok now, thank God. Getting better every day. What's weird is that now - weeks later - is when I've started to get panicky. Or sad. Or tired. I tell myself: it's ok now. My brain says: I dunno.

My spouse reads all texts he receives as if they contain Very Serious News. He stops, frowns slightly. Reads them to himself almost inaudibly. And then with a slight shake of his head and a sigh, he begins typing a response. Has someone been hospitalized? No. Just a family member saying hi.
