Trying to post on the other site (for my dept account) a scholarship opportunity for "UK students from Black backgrounds to undertake a fully-funded research-related master's degree" and it's blocking the link as "potential harmful" 🫥

I'm currently revising an article and so much of what Catherine says here rings true. Including the headed quote - thankfully the reviewers, the editor and a very kind colleague have been holding my hand to get the conclusion right (or better).

Which anglophone outlets would scholars of #IR / #sport approach to pitch a (translated) 2500-word piece on the role of sport in international relations in history and today? Piece has appeared in French recently so The Conversation is not an option as they don't accept translations.

Will the book be a French history book or a European history book (hum... will it ever "be")? Asking myself big questions this morning so I'm going to turn to @drgoeschel.bsky.social intro for his Hitler and Mussolini book to begin thinking through all this.
