Great talk by Charlotte Sharpe on her use of camera traps and Littlewood boxes (@blackdogbirder.bsky.social) to search for Greater White-toothed Shrews in north east England. #BES2024.
GWTS in Ireland compete only with the pygmy shrew. In England, there are 3 resident shrew species.For reasons that Charlotte explained, numbers of reports of GWTS are lower than might be expected from the number of photographic captures.
