Claude code (left) vs Google Gemini - how to show risk on a scale of 1 to 100.
On the left is a scale in red and white that show high risk. The second diagram to the right is just s a slot black line.

Claude's code (left) vs Gemini Antigravity on formatting a graph....
The left is a highly readable plot graph, the second has every data point in a straight linr at bottom.

Ok - I tried to reverse-engineer this and it's not possible. I think this is political (small p), the OFS don't want the hassle of providers who get reclassified into a smaller group.

Charles Knight @charlesknight.co.uk · 18/05/2026
I don't think it's deliberate but I think the OFS sustainability report is misleading because it's grouping of "like with like" providers is misleading....

A Simpsons parody. In the first panel, Troy Mcclure (A lawyer character from the simpsons) says "That's good AI". in the second, a small child asks "Mr Mcclure, how does OpenAI make a profit?". In the final panel, Troy looks directly at the reader with an "uh oh!" look.

I am struggling what the word is for this - jobs that were mundane and sorta relaxing but I have automated them out of existence with AI and it feels.. odd? Wrong?

22,000 people sent letters telling them to repay loans immediately
Courses at around 15 institutions, including London Met, Bath Spa, Leeds Trinity, Southampton Solent and Oxford Brookes, are caught up in the scandal.

They are not serious about HE - I have tried to talk to senior(ish) reform figures on Higher Education. They generally lack enough knowledge for the conversation to make sense. that's not shade just the reality of my interactions.

Having a lot of fun building a new model that looks at financial sustainability of English HEIs. The model is not ready for prime-time but looks to be about five that I think will go "pop" in 2026-2027.

Here's the relevant chart from the above report. It's rare to see such a clear, consistent slope in any social trend. That segregation is decreasing is perhaps the best evidence, least controversial social fact of modern Britain

I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

If you continue down this road and reading about value in the context of Porter - you don't need to read all of his work but reading about his idea of the "Value Chain" will help you put in context.
