AI is constantly hallucinating papers and is making up stuff and research that doesn't exist. And to a relatively significant margin, too. This plus the fact that Google scholar is right there just makes it incredibly hard to trust anything @hankgreen.bsky.social put out going forward.

After reading this paper by @lowbacca.bsky.social I must oppose a publication in the current state. The core value of 1.8% reduction of solar radiation to offset a doubling in CO2 is not supported by the cited source. Govindasamy and Caldeira estimate that a "shielding of ~1.7%" would suffice.
