...I....I really don't know if I should join this. I absolutely LOVE Sonic the Hedgehog. But I also know the fanbase. Oh god.

I have...some questions. The fact we have "Event Movie" in 2028 with no idea what that means raises several questions

Alright. Don't want to step on too many toes here. Is this a shame for Steam Preservation? Absolutely. HOWEVER. I want to know if they scrapped purely for monetary reasons. Or were the locomotives too damaged by the fires. Because that is a very real possibility. If they were too far gone, well...

For those of you unaware, this is isn't a fan drawing. This is officially art work from an Archie Sonic comic taking place in an alternate timeline.

Dear God. I just realized. Is the same day that the this amd the RWS published National Train Day in the USA? If so, that is a MASSIVE coincidence.

You know what's sad? I understand why, on a financial level, why they might do this. But it is still a bad look. And there are PLENTY of other media franchises in the world. Look at what the Bluebell did!

Question. I heard that this documentary was made by the same people who did "Rocky Mountain Express". Is that true?

Now, I live in the mid west. I went to Pennsylvania in 2016 for my high school graduation trip [TIME IS A FLAT CIRCLE] and I enjoyed it. I DO NOT understand the foamers on it. Guys. It's great. But I do not want Flying Scotsman. And I really don't want 2816 in Mexico. Please. PLEASE.

Dovetail is going to need to do a LOT of work if they want this to succeed. We only have FIVE new engines so far. Six if you include James. Trainz has WAY more. Hell, Railworks, a Dovetail game, has WAY more. If this is to succeed, then more engines are needed.

Alright, quick rant? Both my brother and I noticed this, so I want to make sure anyone who follows me sees this. Does anyone notice that update removed to filter things by "Upload Date" on YouTube? And I don't mean by month, week, or 24 hours. I mean you can't search something and then filter it

I do wonder, of all the classic titles to reference, why Sonic CD? Is it possibly related to the new movie?

Normally, I would gloat about this. But I am just glad it is not happening.

Happy Birthday to @victormcknightmusic.com. Although we have only had a few interactions, your story and music has always served as great inspiration to me. No matter what happens, from when I first discovered you through Ink, to blue blurs, your creativity certain shines as one of the brightest.

Guys. Remember Penn Central? Remember when the government broke up Railroad Monopolies? This is ALL OF THAT in the 21st century. This is BAD.

Now, for some interesting questions and ideas. Number 1, this comic will likely state which of the two Frontiers endings are canon, because it will have to address if Sage died and came back or if she lived and just....existed. Second, this is also the first story to take place after Frontiers.

It is still surreal that this album exists. I still listen to Vandalize from this album a lot.

By the way, question to those that went to the Railway Series weekend. Was there any new revelations or reveals at the event?

000

chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social @chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social · 11/05/2025

"So.....I see Sir Handel is having fun. And Ivo Hugh is having fun in the Green Paint. Maybe you would like looking Green Again Peter Sam! You could have it done for your new paint!" "Ehhhhh......." "Wouldn't you like the chance?" "It depends if Grandpuff is around."

Hello all! I am now currently ill in bed at the moment, but I am excited to see what this "Railway Series 80th Anniversary" weekend will be like! I hope you all have fun and I cannot wait to see what you all are able to come up with and show your love for the franchise.

As sad as it is to say, not much. I will make an announcement soon, but personally business has meant I will be away for a long time soon.

chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social @chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

....is @Thomastankmerch on here yet? Because I truly suspect that they may be involved this time. Especially if a Gordon, Henry, Toby, Thomas, or any Narrow Gauge props go up.

010

chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social @chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

I look at this and think back to Sam's trains videos and think "Wow, what happened to THIS era of train sets." I mean, I don't think there is a set anywhere that even matches this.

010

chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social @chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

I know this is completely irrelevant to the post, but I would love to see a Sonic related project animated like RWBY. I maintain that RWBY'S style would fit perfectly for Sonic. Heck, Casey Lee Williams sang for Sonic and it sounded GREAT.

I know this probably isn't in the cards, but I love a Blu-ray set of I Love Toy Trains someday. And a digital release of all the songs. That was my childhood and I would love to see if they could bring it back in fine style.

Question to my followers! On YouTube lately, once I open the app on my phone, it automatically starts the first video listed. Is this happening to anyone else?

Wait.....was Sage IN that trailer for CrossWorlds?

Question to @explcookie.bsky.social and @talyllyn.co.uk . Is the Awdry Extravaganza being replaced with this? Or is this a separate event altogether?

100

chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social @chaosdustandsteam.bsky.social · 16/01/2025

Question. How does one increase followers and the "discover" app to be more relevant to you on this app? It is kinda strange to me how it works.

Can I just say, I have massive respect for BrainScratchComms, including @lewis-medeiros.bsky.social, @somecallmejohnny.com @therealfta.bsky.social and @clementj64.bsky.social . I have been watching some of these folks since I was 12 years old, before thumbnails were a thing. And I still laugh.

Today, one of the people who was most influential on my life passed away. Although I did not know her personally, there is no doubt in my mind that, like me, many people were impacted by her loss. Britt Allcroft was the woman who made Thomas a Success. Thank you Britt. #RIPBritt
